Shrikant Goyal is a seasoned finance professional with deep expertise in capital markets, corporate fundraising, and structured finance. An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, he is also an NISM AIF Qualified Fund Manager and a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
During his tenure as a Director at Getfive Advisors Pvt Ltd, a SEBI-registered Category-I Merchant Banker, he had successfully led capital-raising initiatives and complex financial transactions. With nearly a decade of experience at Tata Capital and other BFSI firms, Mr. Goyal specializes in merchant banking, investment management, and mid-market financing. His strategic vision and leadership have solidified his reputation as a trusted industry expert.

At Getfive, he leads the Investor Relations division, driving fundraising initiatives and building long-term relationships with investors. Prior to this, Maharshi was part of J.P. Morgan in Investment Banking, where he worked on complex financing and funding solutions for clients across global markets.

Regulatory Information

Pooled Investments made in venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, long short strategies etc. are called alternative investments. In other words, an investment not made in conventional investment avenues such as stocks, bonds, real estate etc. may be considered as alternative investments.
Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) are defined in Regulation 2(1) (b) of SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds) Regulations, 2012. It refers to any privately pooled investment fund, in the form of a trust or a company or a body corporate or a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP).

As per SEBI, AIFs are classified in three broad categories. Category I, II & III AIF are close ended & the tenure of the scheme is minimum three years. Whereas Category III AIF can be open ended or close ended.
