About the Role
We are looking for a Business & Partnership Lead to drive outreach, build lasting relationships with advisors and intermediaries, and convert these relationships into active business opportunities. This is a relationship-first role focused on engaging the right people, understanding their business, and identifying where we can add value together.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate outreach with prospects through personalized messaging that introduces the organization, highlights relevant capabilities, and opens the door for further conversation.
- Conduct introductory calls with prospects to understand their business requirements, and explore areas of potential collaboration.
- Lead virtual meetings to discuss service offerings, business challenges, and active mandates, with the goal of identifying genuine partnership opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospects and partners through regular follow-ups, market updates, and consistent engagement.
- Identify and evaluate actionable deal opportunities by assessing fundraising parameters, deal economics, and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, meeting outcomes, and relationship status to ensure a well-managed and active pipeline.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field, or CA or Semi-CA qualification.
- 2–4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or relationship management, ideally within capital markets, investment banking, or financial advisory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and represent the organization professionally.
- Confident in leading calls and virtual meetings, with a relationship-first or consultative approach.
- Strong follow-through and organizational skills to manage an active pipeline of relationships and opportunities.
- Strong understanding of IPO processes, fundraising, and deal structures is a plus.
