1. Preparation

The key to successful Fund Raising is preparation. With the Positioning and Readiness Optimization Review, we will assess your readiness for funding and ability to position your business. You will receive an accurate analysis and valuation of your business from us, and we will help you develop your business plan to include all the factors that an investor/banker would consider before financing your business.

2. Arrange the funding

We will recommend potential private equity, debt, and similar investors that you should meet with, and help you assess the offers you receive. We will help you structure funding in a way that makes sense for the long term.

3. Agree the terms

As part of the negotiations with potential financiers, the business receiving the funds will also have to agree terms relating to the business or asset to be financed. It is likely that both of these negotiations will occur in tandem and the outcome of one will ultimately affect the outcome of the other. Having advised businesses and management teams on this "chicken-and-egg" situation, GetFive team has extensive experience in arranging terms with private equity funds and bankers.

4. Coordinate the process

You as the management team have no need to worry about managing the transaction - we will liaise with the legal, tax, and due diligence advisers if needed for you. This will allow you to focus on running the business.

5. Completion

It normally takes us between four and twelve months to guide all parties through the various hurdles to completion. We put our 100% in timely completion and we expect your support to achieve the same.
